Challenge

Give Baton a coherent brand and product language across marketing, acquisition, and the everyday creator experience — from first visit to year-end Wrapped.

Contribution

Owned brand-facing surfaces and shipping product UI: landing page, App Store cards, studio empty states, menus, ratings, onboarding, and Wrapped.

Landing page

Explained a new product quickly while balancing credibility, personality, and a clear path to action. Owned information architecture, visual direction, responsive design, and front-end implementation.

App Store cards

Communicated value and personality in a small sequence of highly constrained images. Defined the story arc, art direction, layouts, and final production assets.

Studio empty state

Turned an unconfigured workspace into a useful first step. Explored content, illustration, and interaction directions focused on education and activation.

Three-dot menu

Consolidated inconsistent actions without hiding important functionality. Audited existing actions, defined a shared hierarchy, and designed reusable interaction states.

Rating flow

Collected meaningful ratings at the right moment while minimizing interruption. Mapped trigger moments, explored interaction patterns, and defined final states and edge cases.

Onboarding

Reduced confusion and abandonment across a multi-step setup. Audited the funnel, simplified decisions, redesigned key steps, and partnered with engineering through launch — increasing completion by 40%.

Wrapped

Turned product data into a personal, shareable story. Created the narrative structure, visual system, transitions, and production-ready screens.

Paywall

Redesigned paywall screen to increase subscriber count by 50%

Outcome

Shipped a cohesive set of brand and product surfaces that made Baton clearer at first glance and more usable day to day.
